Born in Popoli, in the Pescara province of Abruzzo, he is responsible for two very common sights throughout Italy, the Vespa and the Ape! Most people are familiar with the Vespa; the scooter manufactured by Piaggio. The main change relating to buses is the inclusion of a section on buses to and from Rome. Some of these are operated by private companies e.g. Prontobus (thanks CKC) and Rosato.
