Impressions of Pescara

The first time I saw Pescara I took the not very long bus trip from Francavilla al Mare and wandered around the city on foot.

It was a Sunday, the sun was shining, the sky was blue and the beach looked beautiful.

Out and about today I took this photo of Loreto Aprutino from the church of Santa Maria in Piano.

Olive Trees and a clear sky bounded the town beautifully.

It seemed only right and proper that I reciprocated and so a little later on I took a photo of Santa Maria in Piano from Loreto [...]

Is Collecorvino Still There? What a thing to ask. Of course it’s still there.

It may not be as we last saw it but it hasn’t disappeared overnight (or since we were last in Abruzzo). Somebody would have told us.
