Yes it’s true, an article I wrote has appeared in an Abruzzo magazine called LACERBA. LACERBA publishes 8 editions a year and covers all things political, cultural and sport related in the Vestina area of Abruzzo. Vestina (the lands of the ancient Vestini tribe) takes in Penne, Loreto Aprutino, Pianella, Collecorvino and Civitella Casanova. If [...] I find it difficult to find the time I need to practise my Italian when I’m not in Italy. Up to now most of the “live” Italian I’ve been listening to in Dublin has come from internet radio. Although I don’t understand everything that’s said, far from it in fact, I find the commentary and songs keep [...] Whenever I’m in Abruzzo I look out for two magazines on the newsstands, D’Abruzzo: Turismo Cultura Ambiente and tesori d’Abruzzo. Although they are in Italian I find the use of a dictionary can help me discover new places to visit.
