Wow! When I wrote this post I thought I might persuade a few readers to give Tony Pancella's music a chance. I never thought I'd get a response from Tony Pancella himself!

Thanks for taking the time to let About Abruzzo readers know how to get hold of your collaboration with Uri Bracha, Different Like Two Drops Of Water. As I said in the post, I really love it and I hope others give it a chance too.

I've many readers from UK and USA and I bet on hearing your work they'll jump at the chance to hear you live in April and May respectively.

I might be able to get over to the England concert myself.

All the best,

Bodach

Dear Bodach,

First of all thank you very much for your kind words on the duet CD, I'm really glad and honored that you like our music. Furthermore, congratulations on your great website!
Actually this CD is still not available in the regular distribution, or on iTunes, or any other on-line stores...
There's no record company involved, and this makes things go slower in terms of exposure to the scene: it basically was produced by a dear friend of mine, in Chieti, who loved the CD, believed in the project, and decided to put some money upfront. He took care of the cover art, graphics, packaging etc... He really did a great job!
By the way, Uri and I just did the premiére presentation of the CD at the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival on Feb 5th, with a huge succes.
Now, we're looking forward to go to the next step in terms of distribution, promotion etc. It's hard, but we'll see!
But anyway if there's anybody who would like to have copies, please feel free to write me through my website www.tonypancella.com or reach me on Facebook.
Until we find a regular distribution, of course, but that's not an easy task considering the whole scenario here in Italy... you know what I mean.
As it happened in the last years, also this year will have a busy travelling schedule for me: just got back from Israel, then will go to England in April, then in Ukraine and the USA in May, then ...more flights to come.

Wishing you all the very best, and thanks again so much for your attention.

Sincerely,

Tony Pancella
